Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and RoleVerdict ("we"). By creating an account or using roleverdict.com, you agree to them.

What RoleVerdict is

RoleVerdict is an AI-assisted job-search tool: it scans job sources, scores and organizes openings, tracks your applications and contacts, and generates application materials from information you provide. It is a tool that supports your search — it does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.

AI-generated content

Match scores, verdicts, cover letters, résumé bullets, and assistant answers are generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. Review everything before you rely on it or send it to an employer. You are responsible for the accuracy of any application you submit. RoleVerdict's output is not career, legal, or financial advice.

Your account

• Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide information that's yours and truthful — the evidence-locked features exist to keep applications honest.
• One person per account.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass or deceive anyone;
• scrape, resell, or programmatically extract the service or its data;
• probe, overload, or attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or plan quotas;
• upload content you don't have the right to use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Plans & billing

• The Free plan includes daily usage limits, which may change as costs change.
• Pro is a monthly subscription billed by Stripe. Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. No partial-month refunds, though we're reasonable — ask via support.
• If a price changes, we'll notify you before it affects you.

Your data

Your résumé, notes, and search data remain yours. How we handle data is covered in the Privacy Policy. You can request account deletion at any time via the support form.

Service "as is"

We work hard to keep RoleVerdict fast, accurate, and available, but it's provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Job listings come from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, stale, or fraudulent despite our filtering. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using RoleVerdict and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice to account holders.

Miscellany

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date.
